Personal Bio
Hi there! My name's Amanda and I was born in NY, but moved to NJ when I was 6. I have twin younger brothers who are 16 and a dog named Mocha. I have played soccer and basketball all my life and am on the club basketball team here at Duke.
Fun Facts
I have been to more than 10 countries and love to travel! I can also juggle, play the clarinet, and wiggle my ears.
Education
As of now, I am undecided about which type of engineering I would like to pursue. I am between biomedical engineering and environmental engineering, with a possible minor in Spanish. I would also love to study abroad!

Favorite Demonstration
My favorite demonstration was "Earth's Topography" since it truly amazes me how realistic the Earth appears in 3d form through the use of code. The Earth's continents are outlined in the contour plot and then elevated using altitude data to form the 3d model.
