About Me
I am a biomedical engineering student at Duke University.
I have a labradoodle named Jasmine who still acts just as hyper now as she was when she was a puppy. I love to sing and play piano, and I also enjoy reading or cross stitching in my free time (which is slowly dwindling).
= Name Pronunciation =!
My name is Sanjana Sankholkar, which I'll try to pronounce for you below.
I usually tell people this spiel every time they try to pronounce my name: "sun" like the sun in the sky, "jun" which is like the previous but with a j instead of an s, and "aaah" like you're getting your tongue depressed at the dentist. All together, it'll sound like SUN-jun-aaah, with emphasis on the first syllable.
This is how I would try to write out my last name: S-AH-N-Kohl-car. The first syllable is emphasized again. the "AH" is less of a tongue depressed "aaah" and more of an "ah" when you just drink something refreshing. Kohl's like the store, and car like a car (vroom vroom).
